Principal

Dale Rogers-Eilers

Dear Meadow Heights Families,

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dale Rogers-Eilers, students call me Mrs. Eilers, and I am absolutely delighted to be your new principal! I have had a variety of roles at the classroom, school, and district level, and I have a passion for serving schools. I’m also a parent. I think Meadow Heights Elementary is wonderful and I’m excited to join such a dynamic community.

I want to share a little bit about my education and experience, because I think it makes me uniquely qualified to support Meadow Heights. I have experience teaching preschool, elementary, middle and high school, but I spent the majority of my time teaching elementary school at a small full-inclusion school in Oakland, CA. Just like Meadow Heights, the school was filled with brilliant students and the staff cared deeply for students and families. During this time, I was nominated Teacher of the Year, earned my National Board Certification through Stanford University, and our school was nominated for the National Title I Award for closing the achievement gap. In fact, the school we designed closed the achievement gap more than any school in the state of California. It is my firm belief that all children can achieve at high levels with the right support, and it is more than a belief, it is my lived experience.

It has been wonderful getting to know the students, families, and staff here at Meadow Heights, and I am honored to be your principal. I look forward to getting to know you more in the new year!

Respectfully,

Mrs. Dale Rogers-Eilers, NBCT, MS
