Greetings Meadow Heights Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Meadow Heights! I’m thrilled to welcome you back as we launch into another exciting year of learning, growth, and community. It is truly a privilege to partner with you in supporting the success of every one of our students.
At Meadow Heights, we are deeply committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where all students are empowered to reach their full potential. Our classrooms are spaces where kindness, curiosity, and high expectations come together to support academic, social, and emotional growth.
We’re proud to share that our approach to accelerating student achievement is working! Our data shows steady growth across all academic areas. This progress is a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and families. And the best part? We’re just getting started.
Over the past three years, we've focused on building strong foundational literacy skills, deepening students’ knowledge, and staying true to what defines Meadow Heights: warm, welcoming spaces and a sense of belonging in every classroom and office.
Last year, we also made student attendance a top priority and we’re seeing results! We reduced our rate of chronic absenteeism by 4%. That’s something to celebrate, but we know there’s more work to do. Regular attendance is critical to student success. Students who attend school consistently and arrive on time are more likely to thrive both academically and socially.
Again this year, we’re encouraging every family to aim for fewer than five absences. Every day matters—and every second counts. With your continued support, we can make this goal a reality.
We are so excited for the year ahead and incredibly grateful to work alongside such a dedicated and supportive school community. Let’s make 2025–2026 our best year yet!
With appreciation,
Principal Eilers
