Meadow Heights Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS)

  • Be Safe
  • Be Respectful
  • Be Responsible

Behavior Standards of the Meadow Heights School Community are based on our belief that if children are to acquire self-esteem, achieve academically, and develop good social skills, they must have a sense of community, feel valued, and value others.

Mustang Roundup: Unity in Community

Every month, the Meadow Heights elementary school bursts with excitement during its highly anticipated Mustang Roundups Assembly! This joyful gathering brings together students, teachers, and staff to celebrate community, diversity, and learning through music, performances, and recognition. One of the highlights of each assembly is when students come together to sing songs from The Mosaic Project soundtrack, filling the room with powerful messages of inclusion, peace, and respect. The energy is contagious as voices rise in harmony, creating a sense of unity and joy that lasts well beyond the assembly itself.

Each assembly also features lively skits performed by both teachers and students, often themed around friendship, empathy, and celebrating differences. These skits not only entertain but also teach valuable life lessons in a fun and engaging way. As part of the school’s commitment to honoring multiculturalism, every month highlights a cultural celebration such as Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, or Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month through student presentations, poetry, storytelling, and art displays. These assemblies foster a deep appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures within the school community and help students grow into thoughtful, compassionate global citizens.

Families are welcome to attend!
